A Fun Layout Using Watercolor Melon from Stampin’ Up!

This is the last day to take advantage of Stampin’ Up! Sale-A-Bration.  You can earn this stamp set for free with a $50 purchase of products.  This card was created for my February card class and everyone loved the bright colors.  I used the Modern Oval punch for the whole watermelon, but it’s an easy shape to fussy cut if you don’t have the punch.

Below you will find the list of products and colors used. I left a 1/8” border on the front because I wanted the bright color to pop.  Products used can be purchased through my Stampin’ Up! online store unless otherwise stated.  You can find my website information under “SHOP” located at the top of the page.

Create an Easy Gift Box Using Stampin’ Up! Products

I have made several of these boxes in the past and this one is from my January card class.  Everyone enjoyed making it and felt it was easier to assemble than originally thought.  This box measures 3” x 3” and you can make four boxes using one sheet of 12” x 12” DSP.

Below you will find the measurements and the list of products and colors used. In one of the below pictures, you will notice I punched out a half circle on each side of the box.  It’s not required, however, I did find it easier to hold the box when I was sliding it box back and forth.

A Great Fun Fold Card That Doesn’t Leave Any 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper Scraps

Here’s a great fun fold card that won’t leave any 6 x 6 DSP behind. The fun fold is a CASe from another Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.  I’m sorry to say that I don’t know her name or saved the video.  I believe she is from the UK because I had to convert the metric measurements to imperial measurements.

The DSP measurement is 6” x 5 ¼” which allows you to use the scrap piece for your envelope.

I used the other side of the DSP to decorate the envelope.

The list of products and cut measurements are provided below. The products used can be purchased through my Stampin’ Up! on-line store unless otherwise stated.  You can find my website information under SHOP.

Stampin’ Up! Cheers to the Season Makes A Great Hostess Gift Set

I had a blast creating these card sets.  I plan to give them to family that will be visiting us later this week.

I did a Live video on my Facebook page this past weekend showing how I made these sets.  I focused primarily on how I stamped the leaf image and assembling the box.  If you watched the video, I do apologize for the background noise.  I’m still learning how to do live videos.

I added an extra layer of cardstock to the box.  I felt it needed a little more sturdiness, but you don’t have to add it.

Stamping the leaf was so much fun.  I used my dauber and lightly added a second color.  Each leaf is uniquely different.  I love that about these types of stamps.

These card boxes will hold four A1 size note cards with envelopes.  These boxes will also accommodate using dimensionals on all four cards.  If you adhere everything flat, you could probably add two more cards.

I’ve included a template for the box to show where to cut and it’s not to scale.

Products used can be purchased through my Stampin’ Up! on-line store, unless otherwise stated.  You can find my website information under SHOP.

Fun Fold Card That Uses an Entire Sheet of 6″x6″ Designer Series Paper

Want to use up your 6”x6” DSP?  Here’s a great fun fold style that will do just that.  One sheet of 6”x6” DSP will make one card and even have enough to decorate the envelope. This pack of DSP is called, All About Autumn, and it’s really gorgeous paper. Below is a picture showing how I cut the DSP so that the scenery flowed when the card was closed. You get 48 sheets in this paper pack.  Use this fun fold style and you have 48 cards done and with no leftover DSP.

The list of colors and products used are listed below. Before cutting your DSP, I recommend referring to the picture showing the cut strips.

A Fun Fold Using Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves Stamp Bundle

WooHoo, tomorrow is the big day for the new Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog.  Here’s a fun fold that can be used to hold a gift card that I created with the Autumn Leaves Suite from the new Mini Catalog.  This DSP is truly gorgeous and unfortunately the pictures do not capture the true beauty.  I embossed the leaves with Distressed Tile embossing folder and then added gold ink.  I also added the gold ink to the Early Espresso stems.  I ever so lightly brushed the ink pad over the leaves and stem.

I hope you love this card and the colors as much as I do.

Don’t hesitate to contact me if you would like a copy of the new Mini Catalog.  If you placed an order with me this past year, your copy should be arriving soon.

A Sneak Peek at the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves Stamp Bundle

Anyone who knows me, knows that Fall is my favorite Season.  I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this bundle.  The DSP is amazing too and can dress up a card with little effort.  This Bundle, DSP and embossing folder is in the upcoming Mini Catalog that will go live on September 6, 2023.  I think you’re going to love it!

I do have the list of colors and products used for this card below, however, I wanted to mention a couple of things I have added that may be difficult to see in the picture.  I embossed the Cajun Craze leaf using the new Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder. I didn’t like the “flat” look of the stem, so I lightly brushed Gold ink across the stem.  You may have to zoom in on the picture to see it better.  The other leaf is stamped in Mossy Meadow ink and I used my dauber to add a touch of Pretty Peacock ink to the stamp before stamping.

I hope you love this card and the colors as much as I do because there’s more coming.  I can’t seem to stop!  LOL!

Mystery Stamping Solved Using Inked & Tiled Stamp Set

This card is a result of the Mystery Stamping I participated in from my Stampin’ Up! up line.  If you’ve never done Mystery Stamping, you should give it a try.  There’s different versions of Mystery Stamping that can be found in YouTube videos.  It’s a fun way to create a card by following step by step instructions to make the card without seeing what the finished card should look like.  It’s great to see how other paper crafters interpret the instructions. In this case, I was given information about cardstock, DSP and measurements, however, no instructions on how to assemble. The second picture below shows the inside of the card since it turned out to be a fun fold card.

You can find more information about this card listed below.  Products used can be purchased through my Stampin’ Up! on-line store, unless otherwise stated.  You can find my website information under SHOP.
