Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves Bundle

Another fun fall stamp set from Stampin’ Up! and it doesn’t disappoint.  I was in a hurry to take a picture of this beauty that I completely forgot to add embellishments.  I will certainly add some before I mail it out.

It may be difficult to see in the picture, but I lightly brushed copper ink along the spine leaves (I guess that’s what they are called). I really love how this card turned out.  I hope you do too!

Below you will find the measurements and the list of products and colors used for this card.

Products used can be purchased through my Stampin’ Up! on-line store, unless otherwise stated.  You can find my website information under SHOP.

Stampin’ Up! Cheers to the Season Makes A Great Hostess Gift Set

I had a blast creating these card sets.  I plan to give them to family that will be visiting us later this week.

I did a Live video on my Facebook page this past weekend showing how I made these sets.  I focused primarily on how I stamped the leaf image and assembling the box.  If you watched the video, I do apologize for the background noise.  I’m still learning how to do live videos.

I added an extra layer of cardstock to the box.  I felt it needed a little more sturdiness, but you don’t have to add it.

Stamping the leaf was so much fun.  I used my dauber and lightly added a second color.  Each leaf is uniquely different.  I love that about these types of stamps.

These card boxes will hold four A1 size note cards with envelopes.  These boxes will also accommodate using dimensionals on all four cards.  If you adhere everything flat, you could probably add two more cards.

I’ve included a template for the box to show where to cut and it’s not to scale.

Products used can be purchased through my Stampin’ Up! on-line store, unless otherwise stated.  You can find my website information under SHOP.

Fun Fold Card That Uses an Entire Sheet of 6″x6″ Designer Series Paper

Want to use up your 6”x6” DSP?  Here’s a great fun fold style that will do just that.  One sheet of 6”x6” DSP will make one card and even have enough to decorate the envelope. This pack of DSP is called, All About Autumn, and it’s really gorgeous paper. Below is a picture showing how I cut the DSP so that the scenery flowed when the card was closed. You get 48 sheets in this paper pack.  Use this fun fold style and you have 48 cards done and with no leftover DSP.

The list of colors and products used are listed below. Before cutting your DSP, I recommend referring to the picture showing the cut strips.

A Sneak Peek at the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves Stamp Bundle

Anyone who knows me, knows that Fall is my favorite Season.  I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this bundle.  The DSP is amazing too and can dress up a card with little effort.  This Bundle, DSP and embossing folder is in the upcoming Mini Catalog that will go live on September 6, 2023.  I think you’re going to love it!

I do have the list of colors and products used for this card below, however, I wanted to mention a couple of things I have added that may be difficult to see in the picture.  I embossed the Cajun Craze leaf using the new Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder. I didn’t like the “flat” look of the stem, so I lightly brushed Gold ink across the stem.  You may have to zoom in on the picture to see it better.  The other leaf is stamped in Mossy Meadow ink and I used my dauber to add a touch of Pretty Peacock ink to the stamp before stamping.

I hope you love this card and the colors as much as I do because there’s more coming.  I can’t seem to stop!  LOL!

Merry & Bright Kit Collection Cards

We had lots of family and friends over Thanksgiving week.  Getting ready before everyone showed up and then putting the house back in order after everyone left kept me away from creating cards over the past several weeks.  I’m glad to be back!

These cards are from the Merry & Bright Kit Collection set.  As of yesterday, this product is still available for purchase.  The cards with two oranges are designs from the kit.  The others are alternates that I created and were inspired by other Demonstrators.  I made these for Christmas, however, the cards can easily be turned into winter cards for Birthdays or even Thinking of You cards.  You’ll find below a list of stamp sets and punches used in my alternates.

Products used can be purchased through my Stampin’ Up! on-line store, unless otherwise stated.  You can find my website information under SHOP.

Another Slim Line Card

The gorgeous colors on this tree was my inspiration to make another slim line card.  The tree is located at a neighborhood church and I’ve watched the leaves gradually change colors over several weeks.  The day I took this picture, I thought the colors were absolutely perfect!

I used the Beauty of Friendship stamps which is a two-step set.  All four trees were stamped first in Bumblebee ink and then I used Pumpkin Pie ink for the second stamp.  I used my daubers to add a third color before stamping the second stamp again.  I daubed the additional color to the center and bottom of the stamp.  I used Cajun Craze ink on the left and right trees and Merry Merlot on the inside tree.  The tree trunk was first stamped in Soft Suede.  I added Early Espresso to the outer edge of the tree branches and stamped again to make it look like it had more branches.

I tore a piece of scrap paper and used it to mask the card when I created the background.  I first used Granny Apple Green, then Garden Green and lastly added a touch of Cinnamon Cider.  The sky was done in Balmy Blue.  I used a non-Stampin’ Up! sky stencil for the clouds, however, after I made a few, I decided to just use my Balmy Blue Blending Brush on the rest of the sky.

Create a Fall Slim Line Card

This continues to be one of my favorite Fall stamp sets although it’s retired.  I don’t always think of creating a slim line card, however, participation in a recent slim line challenge resulted in this lovely creation. I lightly shaded the outside sentiment using my dauber in Pumpkin Pie ink pad.  Stampin’ Up! offers slim line envelopes which you get 5 each 3 colors (Soft Succulent, Smoky Slate, White).  If you decide to create a slim line card, I would not recommend using Dimensionals and be cautious of the number of layers used because of the added weight.

Create a Halloween Card Using Stampin’ Up! Paper Scraps

Do you ever participate in card challenges?  If not, you should give it a try.  Not only are they fun, but they help get your creativity juices flowing to create a card you might not have ever thought of creating.  For example, this one is created using strips of scrap cardstock for the background.  Certainly not something I would think of doing.

I had scrap Halloween DSP that was already punched out and made this second card below.  I don’t think I would have thought of using punched circles if I had not created the background strips in the first card.

Create a Pocket Card for Halloween

This is the first time I’ve created a pocket card and it’s a lot easier than I thought it would be.  It’s a great way to use up your DSP and the insert can easily hold a gift card.  I’ve been shading my cards lately.  For some reason I feel like the basic white is too bright and needs to be toned down.  I used several stamp sets to create this card and I have them listed below.

Fun Fold Card Using Stampin’ Up! Products

I think I may have pulled out all of my Stampin’ Up! pumpkin stamps and dies to create this card.  Fall is my favorite Season and I have thoroughly enjoyed making this card.  The fun fold was recently used by another Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator and I thought this fold was perfect to capture my favorite pumpkins.  What do you think?

Here’s a few tips you might find helpful when you create this fun fold card.  I laid out all of the images before adhering them with liquid glue to ensure the images were staggered when the card is closed.  I did not use any dimensionals to avoid the card being too bulky.

I will probably use the back of the card base as my inside sentiment.  Using my blending brush, I softly blended the tag and pumpkins (with the exception of the glitter pumpkin) using Pumpkin Pie ink.

Products used can be purchased through my Stampin’ Up! on-line store, unless otherwise stated.  You can find my website information under SHOP.
